Description

The key factor of these positions is contributing to the development of MIMO systems and their application in various environments with different constraints. The research should face problem concerning the channel characterization considering the antennas correlation due to their proximity. This characterization will consider non-frequency selective and frequency selective channels. Additionally, appropriate signal processing techniques should be applied to remove interferences and improve the channel performance (e. g., the singular value decomposition as a basic technique). Finally, the extension to multi-user MIMO systems will be considered to reinforce the previous results.

Prerequisites
Fluent English is a must (Spanish would be also nice but is not a requisite). Experience in signal processing, MATLAB, C and some DSP knowledge is welcome.
