The aim of this position is to work in the development of embedded electronic devices to be used as part of a body-area network. The systems to be developed must comply with a number of requirements in terms of size, ergonomics, power consumption and accuracy, and should be mounted on flexible substrates that allow the system to be stuck to a human body or any other irregular element. A second challenge of this work is related to the power supply system, normally based on wireless power transfer or energy harvesting. Two positions are offered to work on this project: one for the development of the embedded element (microcontroller+communications+sensors+substrate) and a second one to work in the power system (wireless power transfer+power management)

From January 2016
Maximum available positions
Fluent English is a must (Spanish would be also nice but is not a requisite). Experience in electronic system design
