Application of computational materials science to energy storage. Potential applicable fields include:
. Atomic-level investigation of reaction mechanisms (e.g. thermodynamic and kinetic aspects) of energy storage materials
. Materials Design based on Materials Informatics

- Strong collaboration with experimentalists working on various energy storage fields (e.g. ion-battery, air battery, capacitor, flow-battery) as well as with co-workers on other relevant fields (e.g. catalysts, fuel-cells, thin film characterization, etc).

Prerequisites
Applicants are expected to have interest and aptitude in theory and modeling and a strong background in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, and/or other relevant academic fields.
