Description

The aim of the research is the development and the implementation of an analytical model (i.e. the optimization problem) for the best design of PV-diesel off-main-grid systems for rural electrification of Developing Countries.
Specifically, the model will embrace load demand uncertainty by employing a routine for load curve estimate. The model will be implemented using MATLAB. A case study will consider a peri-urban area in Uganda.
