Description

The activities described in this proposal will be incorporated into an existing project titled “Innovative Configuration of a Fully Renewable Hybrid CSP Plant – Hysol”, ongoing since may 2014 and funded by the European Commission. FP7-ENERGY-2012–1. CP 308912. The position described is for a person with experience in Life Cycle Analysis (LCA). The researcher will join a research group investigating the sustainability of biomass energy production and utilization, solar energy technologies and hybrid solar/biomass systems. The aim of his/her work will be to evaluate the sustainability of selected energy systems (technologies and strategies) and evaluate their integration into hybrid systems that incorporate different energy resources for improved environmental and economic performance.

Prerequisites
Fluent English. Experience in Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) methodology or economic analysis of energy systems.
